The third in our 2026 Beyond sleepless nights: managing chronic insomnia in adults webinar series, in collaboration with MIMS Learning.

 

Dr Cameron Livingston, GP with Special Interest in Sleep Medicine, explores the clinical overlap between sleep apnoea and chronic insomnia, and the cumulative burden these conditions place on patients. Dr Livingston will explore diagnosis, treatment pathways and practical strategies for managing both disorders with a personalised approach to care. He also looks at the role of QUVIVIQ®▼ (daridorexant) in the management of chronic insomnia in these patients.

Cameron Livingston is a General Practitioner and Partner at Dollar Health Centre General Practice in Forth Valley, Scotland, and is also a General Practitioner with special interest in sleep medicine within the Sleep Service in Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Scotland, where he has worked since 2012.

 

Dr Livingston graduated from Edinburgh University in 2004. Following graduation, the early part of his training took place within the National Health Service (NHS) Greater Glasgow and Clyde and NHS Forth Valley boards. He completed his General Practitioner specialty training in 2008.

 

Dr Livingston has gained significant expertise in the assessment and management of a wide range of sleep disorders including obstructive sleep apnoea syndrome, parasomnias, narcolepsy and insomnia.
